Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with Skippy and Owen for lunch. Skippy was in town visiting family and we decided to take the time to meet up and have a nice chat. Owen lives about an hour away and came along to hang out. We enjoyed some good food and drinks while we got interesting looks from across the bar. Apparently they didn’t understand our talk of WordPress and other geeky things (including Web 2.0)!

It was great to put a face with a name and if anybody else is in the area or if I’m nearby someone else, I’d be glad to take the time to stop by and meet. I think it is great for the community to finally meet some of the people we’ve had some very interesting chats with. We had an enjoyable time and agreed to do it again if ever in the area.
