Twittering blog posts is something I do not understand. If I want to monitor somebody’s website I’ll grab their RSS feed. I don’t follow you on Twitter to see when you update your blog. Stop doing it! Can somebody please explain this to me! I follow you on Twitter to see what you’re doing, not to see what you’re blogging about.
Not all of my Twitter followers have mastered RSS yet, so posting to Twitter that I’ve made a new blog post helps those folks go to my site.
I have just started a Twitter account to post the links to my blogs as well as the posts that I enjoy. But I didn’t take into consideration that it might annoy users. Now, I’ll be selective about it, though.
