That's why Georgia-Pacific is the biggest supplier of these. This wood IS kiln-dried, but NOT pressure-treated, just surface-treated. Any wet wood will grow mold if not allowed to dry quickly enough. @Ryan

I found a pile elsewhere inside that looked decent and brought them home. Everything outside looks good now. Andy,

They are going to have mold, no matter where you go...Home Depot, Lowes, your local lumberyard, etc.. I would suggest buying a kiln dried 4x4 if you are afraid of mold.
